A small break from Blogger.

It's been about 4 months since I have posted anything on my blog. I wish I would have kept up but our days have been a lot busier and our camera and computer have been having some "Communication Problems" So, I guess I will be giving the written update until we can work out those kinks.
This Christmas season was full. I have been Substituting at the local Elementary School as an EA. I get about a week of work every month. It's perfect. Just enough that we make some extra money and get out of the house every now and then but not so much that I have to give up being a stay at home Mom, which I Love. I have 2 friends right here in town that watch Colby for me when I work so that works out great too! They are friends that I met through the church and I really appreciate that they can watch Colby every now and then.
Gearing up for Christmas was fun as usual. I love the Christmas season. I love the hope and anticipation it brings. I set up the tree in the first week of December and I got to working on my first Hand-Stitched Quilt. (Which still needs the binding) It was fun to watch Colby experience Christmas in a new way. Reading the Story Of Christ's Birth and making a gingerbread house that Grandpa Reg bought him. He loved all that Candy! (Why do we have the most surgery holidays close together Halloween and Christmas? What were we thinking) Anyways, we also prepared for our trip out West to see my parents. Every other year we spend Christmas Day with my parents and the opposite years we spend with Dan's family. This is nice, in a way because either way we have a nice long visit. I will save my travels for my next post. Till then Hope that update keeps you more in the loop. I will post pictures as my computer allow me.
