Spring

Well the weather is getting nicer and it makes me so excited for our summer ahead. Although we don't really have exciting plans of travelling or renovating, I am simply excited for time with Daniel and Colby this summer. Colby loves being outside and it's my full time job to chase him around out there. I am happy to be at home and am enjoying the freedom of having a toddler. Colby is just starting talking. He can say about 20 words and it seems to be speeding up. Here are a few of his favorites....

Although he has just come out of a huge growth spurt of grumpiness, he seems to be in a much better mood. He is still working on his 2 year molars as well but I have yet to see any come through. Those will be the last one's for a while. Hooray.

This Easter weekend we went up to Wapiti to visit Tim and Heidi and the kids overnight. We had a great time catching up. It's nice to spend time with friends that you haven't seen in a long time. Colby loved being around those kids. Then we had a nice brunch the next day and Colby got to go see and sit on a horse. He saw some cats and a dog too! He really enjoyed himself as did we.

Then we headed up to Daniel's Hometown for a weekend with his Mom. We had lots of fun. We went to the park, out to the farm and to church on Sunday Morning. Grandma cooked funny shaped pancakes for him and he loved them! Lots of good food when we go home. Grandma is a fabulous cook. It's so nice to be in the North with all the trees. Both me and Daniel miss the forest. So it's always nice to be back there.
