Father's Day and a Toddler Bed.

We had a good day for Father's Day. Started with Crepes for breakfast and a visit with Grandma Hertz. Then later in the afternoon we went to the city, played in the park and had a picnic. It's nice to just spend time by the river as a family. We have lots of nice memories there from when we lived in the city, when we were first married. So it's nice to be close by to share it with Colby too!
On tuesday we set up Colby's toddler bed in his bedroom. He was so excited. He loved it. He is so cute watching Daniel put it together. He loves to help. He did decent the first night. Got out about 8 times in 1 and a half hours. Fell out in his sleep and slept till 3:15am on the floor. Then spent the rest of the night in his bed. We are down to one or two exits and then down for the night. So it feels good to have that transition under our belt. Hoping that we can do some potty training in the fall. Ambisious, I know, but worth a try.
Finally, we have good new. We are expecting our second baby in the end of January. So that makes me about 10 weeks along. I am so tired and nauseous which is hard but it's going better than when I was pregnant with Colby. I was always sick with him. But this time it comes and goes and I can actually nap when Colby naps. Last pregnancy I had to work 8-12 hour days at work and commute. So I am thankful that I am at home with Colby during this pregnancy.
That is about it for now. :)
