One week....

Just thought I would post to let you know what we have been up to. So much has been going on. First last Wednesday our camery's transmission siezed. This means that we no longer have a second car. It's unfortunated because we just spent a bunch of time and money on this car and now it's worth nothing. Oh well that's how it goes. We are also in the process of trying to sell our 2009 Corolla. It's been an awesome car for us over the last 1.5 years but we are going down to a single income and let's face it a 2009 car is not a single income car. :) So hopefully in the next few weeks we will be able to buy a different car and sell this one. Then when all that is finished we will look into possibly reviving the camery or laying it to rest. So for now, i have no car. That's ok because I have so many things that have been neglected hear over the summer that it will give me some time to do that.

Another thing is that Colby got Hand, foot and mouth disease thursday. It's like a cold but the symptoms are sores on your hand, feet and mouth. I figured out that something was wrong when I noticed welts on his tongue. I took him after hours to the ER to make sure he was ok, and the lovely and knowledgable docter there told me that was how he was born and that those welts were always there. ....Ya, she's not my favorite but I got a hold of my real docter and she told me that it was this Hand , foot and mouth Disease. Totally commun this time of year in children under 3 years old. There is nothing that they can do but let it run it's course. So hopefully it will be on the way out soon. Colby is a trooper. But soon i would like to sleep at night again.

We had Daniel's sister's wedding in hudson Bay this weekend. It was beautiful wedding and she looked amazing. It was nice to see lots of family and friends from Daniel's childhood. It poured all weekend and the reception was outside but luckily they had a tent set up, so all was good.

And now as of monday I am helping with the local VBS program from 6:30 till 9pm everynight. Daniel and Colby are staying home having some quality time together and I am running and jumping and yellign with the kids all week long. What a Blast. So that has been our last week. Busy, Eventful, rainy and wonderful at the same time. I can imagine in a few days here we will all crash and have a break from the business.

Sorry to hear the transmission died!! What year is it? Our last car was a '99 standard Camry and one day the whole engine seized. We replaced it, but it wasn't the same so we sold it.
I hope Colby's sickness goes away soon and you get some sleep!

I hope Colby is completely recovered by now! A lot of reassurance you got from the ER doctor, how frustrating. Love the new pictures and watching Colby grow!
