One last bottle...

So Colby is a whooping 26lbs at 11 months. Actually he was 24lbs at 4 months so that's actually not much weigh gain in the last 7 months. But he is getting taller and taller. I wish I knew how tall but tall none the less. He has been busy learning as kids do and eating more and more table food. Some interesting new food that he likes include tofu, veggie burgers, gouda cheese and frozen corn. Not my idea of a delicious meal but as long as he is eating I am happy.
We just cut out the early morning feed that we had been doing, mostly due to the fact that it was getting earlier and earlier 4 then 3 then 2 then 1. He also wasn't hungry for breakfast when he got up for good in the morning. So we have cut it out and he has cold milk out of his sippy cup with breakfast. He really likes this cup with cold homo so no complaints there. He only has the one bottle before bed and I am wondering when you guys got rid of this one. Or if you have any idea when they give this feed up. I am not in a rush, I am just curious.
Well here is a bath picture, CLASSIC. No exposure. I found this bubble bath at Extra Foods that was CARS bubble bath and it was shaped like motor oil. So cute. I couldn't resist.
Anyways, my maternity leave finished this month and I have decided to stay at home with Colby and hold down the fort for now. I am excited about it. Anyone with any money saving tips is welcome to share as well. Have a great day.

I see that Colby is a broom addict as well. Jaxon thinks brooms are the BEST. Too bad they're so dirty. Oh well. I guess that's what boys do...get dirty.

Colby is such a cutie. :) He looks like he's a ton of fun :)

Sorry I don't have any advice for you for weaning...as you know :)

As far as money saving tips, my biggest one would be meal planning and grocery shopping every 2 weeks instead of every week (with your grocery list made from your menu).

Good luck! Talk to you soon :)

What a cutie!! My kids were both around 25 pounds at a year too I think.

As for bottles, I'm a bad mommy and let my kids have a bedtime bottle til about 2 years old or so :) Just do what works. Eventually he won't need it and he'll forget about it pretty quickly!

I'd agree with Laura about meal planning. I plan all of our meals for a week (well, mainly supper because there's always something around for lunch, and breakfast is easy) and then only buy the things on my list. I stick to $75-80 per week for groceries, so if it doesn't fit in that budget, I have to plan some other cheaper meal. It's hard, but it works. And I like not having to think of what to make at 5pm :)

I don't know how old i was, but i had just learned to walk at my Great Aunt's place in Ontario, when we got home to alberta my mom told me i had left my bottle on the plane, so it was gone. When ever i saw a plane fly over i would wave by to my baba :o)
