Strep throat, Teething and School

Well another couple weeks have gone by since I posted anything. We have been sick with colds (Colby) , strep throat (Erin), and been teething (Colby) as well.
First of all at about 5 months Colby got his first 2 teeth. Dan was the one who first noticed, which was nice for him to see something first before me. You know the guys miss alot of the firsts for babies because they are at work. So now Colby has his 2 bottom front teeth. Hooray. 2 DOWN and lots more to go. He is getting to be more and more fun these days. Laughing giggling, and playing with his toys. Oh ya and he started food at about 5 and 1/2 months. He will eat anything I put in front of him. He is a boy with a healthy appetite.
Daniel is now back in school. He is in his 4th year in machining and is almost a journeyman. This will be his last session in school. Horray. He says it's hard but good. He is happy to learn and that's a good thing.
As for me, I have been doing some sewing, reading and watching Colby. I have sewn about 6 pouch slings and now I am working on a rag quilt for Colby. I'm not so sure how to make it but my friend Erica is going to show me.
Anyways that's about all. Just thought I would give you an update since it's been a while.
Have a good day.
P.S. Thanks Laura for the idea for the picture of his teeth.

aw man....strep throat? That's no fun. Hope you guys all get feeling better soon. Great shot of Colby's teeth Erin. You can see them perfectly. :)

Are you selling the pouch slings? If I was having another baby I'd maybe ask you to sew one for me...or I could try and sew my own, but that seems like too much work! Do the pouch slings work well for older kids, like Jaden's size?

Oh - it is so time for spring these days. Even the "cold and flu bugs" are getting cranky - just hanging around waiting to go outside after being cooped up for so long.

I believe that Spring will come . . . I even felt a bit of warmth from the sun the other day.

Love ya,

Mom
