Well we had a really good trip to Abbotsford to see the family. Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Kristen got to see him alot, which they loved. Got to go to the States to see a couple of my mom's sisters. So that was great to see family that I hadn't seen in years. I sure like visiting with them. Wish it could be more often but I will take what I can get. Got together with my Dad's sisters too and Great Grandma Leppington (Piper too). I love seeing my parents with their siblings. You start to feel so normal around people you look like, sound like and act like. Colby got to meet lots of people that's for sure. He did really well. He is such a good boy. The only thing that we struggle with is sleep at night. He wants to nurse every 2 hours! But he is a big boy so I guess that's ok.
He acquired a few new skills while we were away...
1 ) To pool his spit on his chin and then spit it on however is closest. Thanks grandpa for teaching him that! See picture 5
2) Looking at people upside down seems to really entertain him. Especially in his car seat.
3) To fake cough to get people's attention. (Sounds like me as a child)
4) He loved to watch the fireplace with Grandma.
So anyhow he did well. I love my baby. He got to experience alot. First trip abroad (states), Two trips to IKEA, Outlet Mall Shopping, and much more.
