Nearly Free

January is such a weird month. Always a bit of a downer after all the activities of December. I have recently tried to find thing to do that are nearly free and not outside due to the frigid weather. I have learnt to enjoy a good cup of tea a couple times a day. It really warms you up and is so tasty too! Rearranging the furniture in a room. For example I have rearranged my living room and my office in the past week. It always feels like a new change for me but it free. It gives me a chance to get rid of some things that are not being used and tidy up places that are neglected. Taking pictures of the little guy is fun too! Then downloading them and editing them is entertaining too! It's always good to get into the habit of taking pictures. Have some friends come by for a cup of coffee and a visit. Lots to catch up on since the holidays keep us busy with family sometimes we go the whole month of december and barely see any friends. Catching up is encouraging. Starting a new project with a hobby of interest. Mine is a new hobby of sewing. Fun to use some creativity and have the feeling of accomplishment if you complete it. Try a new recipe! You might be surprised and find a good one
Anyway, those are just some of the ways that I have been keeping busy this january and hope that I can encourage you to have fun for nearly free!

hey erin! Interesting post! You have some good ideas. JAx has the same jolly jumper as Colby.....he's starting to LOVE it. This week he really got the bouncing thing down. It looks like Colby likes his too :)

What kind of tea do you like? My fave is Chai tea lattes. Celestial Seasonings makes the best chai tea. Milk, brown sugar and a little water heated up with a tea bag in the mico.....yum.

I love rearranging furniture too! Unfortunately, our house is so small that the furniture only fits one way, so i can't ever change things up:(

Colby is sure growing! Always so stylish, love the clothes you put on him!
