List of Fives

Since I am unfamiliar with this game of tag I choose to make it any list of 5's.

These are the most interesting this I have learned in Lifespan class.

1) Deaf infants who are born to deaf parents who use sign language, babble with thier hands and fingers at the same time hearing children babble vocally

2) In the United states 21.3% of children who are of age nine, report watching more than 5 hours of television a day on weeknights. Compared to Canada at 14.9 % and at the bottom of the scale Switzerland at only 3%.

3) People who have leaning disabilities actually have an above average intellegence (IQ) Often expressing excellence in such area as numbers, combinations and weather stats.

4) Some paternal factors for pregnacy. Men's exposure to lead. radiation, certain pesticides and petrochemicals may cause abnormalities that lead to miscarriages or childhood cancers. Men's lack of vitamen C intake can produce offspring who are at higher risk for birth defects and cancer.

5) A newborns vision is estimated to be 20/400 to 20/800 at birth and only distinguishes reds and greens. By two months of age an infant can see colors like an adult. At six months it is estimated to be 20/100 and at one year it's vision approxiamates that of an adult.
