My thoughts

Today my wonderful aunt Eileen helped me hem yet another pair of pants and for that I am thankful. For some strange reason i have run into the problem that even petite pants don't fit me.( In lenght) The waist is fine but my legs are too short. I don't know if any of you have the same problem but no matter where I shop I can't seem to find a place that carries my leg size. I say Boo to pant making companies. (Just kidding I am sure they are always very nice.) Any how, Today I am very thankful for my aunt Eileen and her magnificient sewing machine that turned otherwise useless pants into everyday pants that I can wear that don't drag in the mud. Hooray for short pants!!

P.s. Another picture of my handsome cat Samurai.

Yes, I most definitely have the smae problem, measuring up to a full 5 feet one inches!!!

I can buy capri pants and they're the perfect length. Too bad they don't sell those in the winter :(

And I am thankful for my co-worker Melody who is hemming my pants for me, as I don't have time. Three pairs of news ones were just sitting there for 2 weeks b/c I couldn't do it.

HOORAY FOR HELPFUL LADIES!

Erin you're so cute. I'm glad that you are happy now because you have short pants.

And I must say, even though I don't particularily like cats, that is a very nice picture of you and your Samurai. Hope you guys are doing good these days. Talk to you soon :) Love Laura

It's nice to have people around to offer to do things like that. I'm going to have to learn how to use a sewing machine again so I can fix my own clothing...maybe even make it.

Hey you - I may have had a little to do with making your legs too short - sorry about that! I am also thankful to Aunt Eileen and to your other great Hertz relatives like your amazing Mother in Law - Bev. They are all talented women that could teach me a lot of things that I never learned from my own "dear ole ma". Miss ya lots and love both of your special babies - Daniel and Samurai(in that order!) Daddy and I are going to see Denver and Elvira Kroeker this afternoon for coffee. They are in Vancouver for a wedding! It'll be a fun way to escape my homework and not feel too guilty!
Love ya the mostest! Mom

Hey Erin, it makes me truly happy to know that you have access to a pant hemmer. I think that everyone needs one or life really can't be complete. My mom happens to be my pant hemmer. In fact I think I will call her right now to tell her how much I appreciate her pant hemming ability. I like the blog, it's really cool to see how you guys are doing and what's new. Have a great week.
Cheers
James
