Camping at Wakaw Lake

Well we enjoyed a weekend of relaxation at Wakaw Lake. We were camping with our friends Dan and Laura, and our little prairie dog friend as well. We ate all the delicious food that comes with a weekend of camping, pizza bush pies, spagetti, bacon and eggs. It was wonderful. It was sunny, hot for most of the weekend except for Saturday at supper we had a thunder storm which was fun to watch.




Dan decided to light some fireworks that we found for real cheap at the Wakaw gas station. So we all went down to the Lake to light them and after the first few the Park Ranger Joe, that later becomes a good friend of ours informs us that they are prohibited in the park and that we are now, effective immediatly, band from all provincial parks for the next 4000 years. Turns out that he was joking about the last part but we still needed to find a better place to set them off. So we drove out of the park to find a more suitable area and we did. They turned out to be quite nice.



We mini golfed and Laura seems to get a little out of hand with her putting thatturned out to be more of a chip. She lost a couple of ball over the fence. It was funny
