Well, things are going pretty well these days. Colby is a funny little guy and we are enjoying him lots. We even had our first night away this weekend. He stayed at Nate and Louise's and loved it. His friend Toby's house. They had a great time. He did so well. He liked the excitement. So we (Dan and I) went to Edmonton to buy somethings for the bathroon that we are putting in on the second level of our home. Ikea and clothes shopping is so much easier with adults. So we enjoyed our time together just the two of us. Couples need that from time to time. But we are now happy to be home with our little man.
Anyways back to the reason I was posting. Any advice for early wake ups at 5 am. He is sleeping from 8-5 which is wonderful but then he is insisting it's morning. As much as I love him, i can't say i love getting up at 5 am. But he usually has a poopy diaper so I don't blame him. Any advice to get him back to sleep again till at least 6? Much appreciated.

yikes. 5am isn't morning in my books. I don't blame you for wanting another hour or two!
What does he do if you just leave him in his crib? I wonder if he would eventually fall asleep?
i mean, after you change his poopy diaper. (Jaxon often has a poop early in the morning too! Funny.)
Hmmm...we've got early risers here too! If Emily doesn't wake up early, then Tate will and vice versa! haha. All I do is change their diapers and put them back in bed where they have to stay until 7am. I've taught Tate that he needs to be quiet while in bed, but Emily is a bit young to understand that yet, so she "talks"...and once in a blue moon they will fall back asleep. :) Sorry...no advice on actually "getting" them back to sleep....if you figure out how to do it let me know! :)
