Now it has been a couple of weeks, I finally have a chance to write a little on the blog. Colby was born Monday morning early into the morning. Labour was long but it's worth it to meet our little guy. Things went really well for Colby. He is happy and healthy. We stayed in the hospital for 3 days total including the day of labour. He rated 8 on the APGAR at 1 and 5 minutes too.
Daniel got to be in the delivery room the whole time which was great for me. My dad and mom were able to fly out when they heard we were in labour and be there before the delivery. My mom was in the delivery room too. I am so glad that worked out. As my brother and my dad waited in the waiting room. Daniel's parents came up right away as well to see their first grandbaby. A boy. Wonderful.
Daniel has gone back to work and Colby and I are getting into a little bit of a routine. We are really enjoying being parents to Colby. He's a great baby. He's gaining lots of weight and he is already into the 3 months clothing. He's long 22 inches. He got a cold right now so hopefully he will be getting better soon.
Anyway, Just thought I would give you a quick update.

Congrats you guys!! He is adorable. :) And trust me...although I'm sure you're not thinking about the 2nd baby yet (haha), but it IS easier the 2nd time! ;)
Id been checking your blog every few days waiting to see your little bundle! (Im an NBI alumni) :) Anyways. Congrats on Colby! Hes adorable!!

I think that he looks like his daddy, at first glance, What do others say? I guess he would be the first grandchild on both sides? Is that right? How did your meet Colby day go?
